Leadlighting & Stained Glass

Leadlighting and Stained Glass are one of the oldest crafts in the world. They began as a means to piece together the small fragments of glass that was made to create a covering in window openings. These began to morph into pieces of art as craftsmen began to paint and fire the stains onto the glass.

Over the years the skills and craftsmanship has lead this industry into creating the most beautiful and memorable windows in some of the world’s greatest cathedrals and churches.

We still honor this age old process, and modern day leadlights and stained glass are still created using the same methods they have been for hundreds of years.
